Adoption Fees
Our animals receive the highest quality of medical care, diets, training and socialization to become a permanent part of your home. Our adoption fees do not even cover the expenses for each animal that enters our facility. Thanks to donations from the community, we are able to offer more than any other shelter in the County. Just look at all of the quality care that each and every animal receives here in order to prepare them for a lifelong home with you.
What Our Adoption Fee Includes:
- Spay/Neuter Surgery
- Health Exam
- Initial Vaccinations (FVRCP/Cats: DHLPP/Dogs)
- Heartworm Testing (Dogs only)
- Canine Bordetella Vaccine (Kennel Cough – Dogs only)
- Feline Leukemia Test (Cats only)
- De-worming
- Micro-Chip
- ID Tag
- Behavior Modification, Training & Socialization
- Leash and/or Cat Carrier Box
- Adoption Counseling
- Educational Resources (Adoption Packet and Pre/Post adoption counseling)
- A Loving Companion for Life

Fees:
Dog adoptions (over 25 lbs) — $130
plus $25 Training Deposit
Dog adoptions (under 25 lbs) — $200
plus $25 Training Deposit
Puppy Package — $275
includes 4 weeks Training classes and all remaining series
vaccinations
Cat adoptions — $100
Kitten adoptions (under 7 months) — $150
includes all remaining series vaccinations.
Rabbit adoptions — $40
Small animal adoptions — $15
(guinea pigs, mice, rats & other).
Senior cats & dogs (over age 7) — $80
plus $25 Training & Consultation deposit for dogs
Senior citizens over age 65 adopting a pet receive a 20% discount.
