Charity Medical Services

Many pets are in need of urgent medical care, but some are found abandoned and others have caring owners that do not have the financial means to cover the expensive medical bills. Whether it’s an animal found injured by a Good Samaritan or an animal whose owner cannot afford medical care, the Humane Society Veterinary Hospital goes the extra mile for animals in need because every animal deserves a second chance.

Who Pays for This?

Currently the Humane Society has a Charity Medical Fund that has some dollars set aside for sick & injured animals (including our own shelter animals). However this funding is limited by the donations we receive.

Since we do not receive any funding from the government or national organizations, donations are the only resource we have to treat sick or injured animals. Help us help them by making an online donation now.

If you are in need of veterinary care for your pet and cannot afford treatment, please call our Veterinary Hospital at (707) 284-1198 to find out your options and whether you may qualify for our Charity Medical Services.
