Saving Lives Through Prevention in Sonoma County

 

The Humane Society & SPCA of Sonoma County in partnership with Sonoma County Animal Care & Control and the City of Santa Rosa is offering cat spay and neuter surgeries to pet owners in Sonoma County. You can help us bring more events to Sonoma County by donating to the Spay/Neuter Fund. Click here to help stop the littering.

 

DOMESTIC CATS ONLY, $20 donation suggested. Please bring proof of rabies & FVRCP vaccinations. Additional $10 fee if no proof of vaccines & we must vaccinate.

There is a limit of two cats per household. Space is limited!

 

INSTRUCTIONS FOR CAT OWNERS:

You must have an appointment. Surgeries will be held at the Humane Society located at 5345 Hwy 12 West in Santa Rosa. Click here for directions. Drop off time: 7:30 AM. Please use the Spay/Neuter Clinic entrance. Maximum of two cats per household. Cats must be at least 2 lbs. to be spayed or neutered. Do not give your cat any food or water after 11 PM the night before surgery. Cats must arrive in individual hard sided, plastic carriers (no cardboard or fabric carriers please). Your cat will be evaluated by a vet or technician upon drop off, and you will be required to wait until they are cleared for surgery, please allow yourself enough time. Same day pick-up between 3:30 - 4:30 PM. These events are for domestic cats only. Feral cat surgeries are available through Forgotten Felines.
